The client is a residential community in northern Taiwan with two entrances. To keep management fees down, the night shift was reduced to a single guard covering both entrances. That created a gap: when the guard walks over to check the second entrance, or steps away from the booth, the main gate can be left open with nobody watching it.
WorldTrend added the Eagle AI Cloud Patrol Platform, connected to the community's video system. AI patrols the guard booth and main gate on camera every 30 minutes, so nobody has to watch screens all night.
The detection is condition-based. The system does not alert simply because the gate is open or the booth is empty; it checks both at once — no guard at the booth and the gate not closed. Only when both are true does it raise an alert automatically. An open gate alone happens every time a resident walks through, and an empty booth alone is normal while the guard is on patrol. Together, they are a real risk.
